Mr. Baker is a supply chain expert, with over 22 years of hospital administration experience, 7 years of GPO experience, and 6 years of medical equipment and supply distribution. He is an expert in equipment repositioning and distribution, and has consistently been praised for his cost-conscious management practices.
During his tenure as Vice President of Operations at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, he and his team were specially recognized for cost reductions exceeding $5 million. With the desire to share such valuable strategies with the industry, Mr. Baker published and wrote Hospital Material Briefings newsletter for 13 years.

At DOTmed, Mr. Baker will lead business development with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), addressing the unmet needs of hospitals to recycle equipment and recover costs and do so efficiently and transparently, with the greatest attention to customer service.
"David Baker has worked in senior levels of hospital administration and he's worked for GPOs," DOTmed President, Philip Jacobus says. "His intimate knowledge of how these systems work makes him the perfect candidate to develop our Auction business."

Mr. Baker's territory is nationwide, and he will frequently attend national trade shows. He earned his BA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, also in St. Louis.
