Voluson 730 pro bt05 booting issue

November 18, 2020 09:54

Dear all,
i m facing a problem with my voluso 730 pro bt05.
While i turn it up it stops at the "Starting Windows..." screen and isnt loading.
I looked at the bios menu the "PC HEALTH" section and everything was as it should, i mean voltages etc.
Do you have any idea?
I would be gratefull.

Hello, Cratis!

First of all, check CMOS battery for proper 3 V. Enter the BIOS using famous four letters password, and Load GE defaults. Take the advantage of having the opened BEP (PC motherboard), and make a deep inspection, reattaching all boards, memory and processor. Also, replace the thermal conductive paste under processor's cooler. Check if the boot continues after those measures.

Second: are you familiar to Voluson's built-in rescue Linux boot?

It allows you to perform a complete C and D partitions recovery.

But, only do that if you have the BT activation license key.

Depending on the SW version, either by pressing down arrow key to select "Service", in the beginning of the boot, or when the word "Boot" appears on the upper left corner of the screen, by pressing , followed by the letter "l" (of Linux), and , type the same famous four letters password used for BIOS , in both cases.

Surf on the menus to select the desired action, very intuitive.

All recovering process is automatic, and the result is a fresh OS and App installation.

Hope these help, take, stay safe, God Bless.

Kind regards,

MAC.

Try reloading software but ensure you have a backup CD in place or your license key
Best option is to get another hard drive and first start with loading that instead of the original hard drive
