After replacing rollers (front and back) the CR intermittently produces a blank film. The x-ray is fine. Our mR meter showed normal mR output during all our test exposures. The image begins to scan and you can tell it is "gray and grainy" then the processing takes over and blackens the film to a Q-35. Just like it does if it is a non-exposed plate. Again the is intermittent and does it about 1 out 5 exposures but sometimes it might not do it for 10 or 12 exposures. We replaced the nylon flex cable from the USB to the PMT. Didnt seem to make a difference.
Any thoughts out there?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi Mark, Please how did you solve the problem? When cassette is exposed on my Kodak poc 140, no image is seen following scanning. What shows is only ghost/noise or a dark area at most. Please what can I do?
