You might want to perform a Reset Image DB, if there is a DB issue the system will not boot to applications.

If the system won't boot to the applications level perform a "Reset Image DB"

In most cases it means the recon unit isnt booting up properly. It may be a issue with your raw data drives. You can try running "reconfig" from root user with database regeneration selected, ( stop the unit from starting applications to do this). While it is running watch the activity in the shell. You should see it testing the raw data drives at some point. It should list the drives (ie.. STxxxxx), you can tell what type drives you have from this. Watch to see if both drives pass testing and are formatted with out failures. If not you probably have one or possibly both raw data drives bad. I could help you more if I knew what console configuration you have and software Rev. it's running on. send me an e-mail if you need further help.

That seems to indicate a problem initializing the STC, possibly dealing with the axial control test. It's hard to say for sure. I would boot the system and stop the applications from starting. Open a shell and check your communications from the oc. Ping the stc, etc, and obcr. you should be able to get a response from each of them. If not go after the one that is failing. The oc serial comm goes through the LAN switch to the data converter onto a 50 ohm coax cable to the stc, and etc at the gantry. The table controler(etc) has the terminator built into the coax connector at the etc board. Make sure all your coax connections are good. Check your stc power supplies. Reseat the stc, axial control, ans lscom boards. Recheck your error logs for any other clues of failing sub systems. The first few are usually the important ones, after that its mostly due to earlier failures.
