GE HealthCare is partnering with Genpact to improve its U.S. leasing and lending operations with AI technology.
Through a new multiyear agreement, GE HealthCare will apply Genpact's Cora platform to its U.S. leasing and lending operations, utilizing the technology's AI capabilities to refine its program and gain more insights for better addressing customer demands.

Genpact is a global professional services firm, and its Cora platform is integrated with a business-process-as-a-service (BPaaS) operating model that enables users to set business benchmarks and collect insights and key performance indicators to scale its business. Cora’s open architecture integrates generative AI and other emerging digital technologies, and supplies users with Genpact’s expertise in healthcare, life sciences, and the leasing and financial services industries, including knowledge of equipment financing, portfolio management, and customer operations support.

With the platform, GE HealthCare will provide necessary upgrades and enhancements to customers using its existing suite of equipment loan and lease products. The company told HCB News that the agreement is an extension of its years-long partnership with Genpact and best meets its needs as a newly independent company.

As a digital business platform, Cora supplies businesses with access to technologies such as AI, the cloud, and analytics that can be deployed across new and legacy equipment to modernize and scale enterprises.

"Rapid innovation in the healthcare industry compels leaders like GE HealthCare to continuously evolve their operating models, driving efficiencies and value beyond financial outcomes," said Anil Nanduru, global business leader of high tech and manufacturing at Genpact, in a statement.

The company’s BPaaS model utilizes this combination of AI and analytics to make predictions that drive growth and build up resilience, whether it be for workforce and inventory planning; integrated visualization of sales metrics, revenue, and customer satisfaction; financial forecasting for cash flow; or sales, revenue, and demand forecasting.

Additionally, users have access to proprietary and partner technologies, such as Cora APFlow, for automating processes to streamline payments; Cora ARFlow, for faster payment collection and decision support; Cora Case Manager, for managing operations; Cora Orchestration, for managing workflow; and Cora OrderAssist, an AI-based digital order management system.
