Desert Radiology donates multiple ultrasound units to Ukraine through Radiologists Without Borders Organization

LAS VEGAS – Desert Radiology, a premier diagnostic imaging practice that has served Southern Nevada for more than 50 years, donated three ultrasound units to Radiologists without Borders, a nonprofit organization in the United States that provides diagnostic imaging equipment, services, training, and support to medically underserved communities around the world. The nonprofit will send Desert Radiology’s ultrasound units to health facilities across Ukraine.

Radiologists without Borders, aims to bring lifesaving diagnostic imaging exams to underdeveloped communities as the nonprofit claims two-thirds of the world does not have access to basic x-ray services. Desert Radiology is proud to support the efforts of this organization as they continue to provide essential services to those who need it the most.

Desert Radiology is proud to support several charitable organizations throughout Southern Nevada including Project 150, City Impact Center, Opportunity Village, the American Lung Association of Southern Nevada, Veteran’s Village, Susan G. Komen, Southern Nevada Burn Foundation, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
