What:

Launch Event for Groundbreaking Digital Health U.S. Research Initiative

HMS is the lead U.S. partner of the newly launched Digital Health CRC (Cooperative Research Centre) – a coalition of businesses, government and universities joining together to use big data to unlock new ways to deliver better patient outcomes and control rising healthcare costs.

The coalition will perform analytics-based research using paid claims data to help tackle some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. The first research project conducted by Stanford University students will tackle the opioid crisis. The second research project conducted by Southern Methodist University students will focus on hospital readmissions.
