PARAMUS, NJ —Nov.13, 2018—Nuvolo today announced it is collaborating with GE Healthcare to offer Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) professionals one-click access to GE Healthcare’s Service Shop portal through Nuvolo’s modern, cloud-based clinical Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform.

Healthcare providers are using decades-old CMMS and EAM platforms for clinical asset management and relying on disparate vendors and systems for generating work orders, maintaining and repairing equipment, granting purchase approvals and more. In an effort to innovate this antiquated process and offer HTM professionals a more modern, streamlined experience, Nuvolo is integrating its industry-defining Healthcare EAM with GE Healthcare’s Service Shop portal to offer access to comprehensive lifecycle management of clinical assets and seamless procurement of parts.

“We are committed to revolutionizing the clinical asset management industry and bringing HTM professionals real life solutions for streamlining workflows, lowering costs and driving great efficiencies. We’re thrilled to collaborate with GE Healthcare on this powerful integration,” said Tom Stanford, CEO, Nuvolo.

Through this collaboration, clinical engineers can:

● Manage work orders, contracts, parts and data for network connected medical devices

● Search for, access and order new and GoldSealTM refurbished parts from a catalog of 80,000 genuine GE Healthcare parts

● Experience a seamless one-click authentication into GE Healthcare’s Service Shop on-line part ordering portal through Nuvolo’s platform

All of these capabilities are available in a single, modern, easy-to-use cloud-based platform, built on ServiceNow.

“This news also marks an extension of Nuvolo and GE Healthcare’s growing collaboration. GE Healthcare currently utilizes Nuvolo’s Clinical EAM platform to manage more than four million medical devices in the United States and Canada. We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration to offer Nuvolo and GE Healthcare customers this innovative integration and look forward to introducing future capabilities in 2019 to make parts sourcing and ordering even easier for HTM professionals,” said Tom Stanford, CEO, Nuvolo.

“This addition to the Nuvolo EAM platform brings a new level of automation and a seamless experience for our customers, helping enable them to focus on providing the best possible care for their patients,” said Rob Reilly, Vice President & GM, U.S. and Canada Service, GE Healthcare.
