Hi, although we had a snowstorm last weekend in NY, the temperature is getting higher this week. There is still some snow on the street, yet the first day of spring came on March 21.

One of my best friends is visiting me from Tokyo this week. I have not seen her for awhile, so we are having a lot of fun together in NY.

Every time my friends visit me, I take them to the Empire State Building; therefore, to be honest, I don't find it exciting any more. This time, I decided to take my friend to the Observation Deck at Rockefeller Center -- "TOP OF THE ROCK™ Observation Deck."

When we were going into Rockefeller Center, we ran into a famous Japanese actress at the entrance! It seemed that she was filming for a Japanese TV program. My friend and I asked her to take a picture with us, and she happily granted our request. We were excited at the moment. I am just sorry I am not able to watch the program because I won't be in Japan on the day that it's broadcast on TV...

After that, we reached the top. Even though it was a cloudy day, the view from there was awesome. We can see the Empire State Building straight ahead. I thought visiting the top of the Empire State Building was great, however, seeing the building from the other place was also amazing.

On the way up to the top, they showed us films about Rockefeller History, so we can also learn something interesting besides the view from the top. Enjoy both if you get a chance to go there!
