We've all heard plenty about big data.

Big data this and big data that. I feel certain that the DOTmed delegation that attends HIMSS will hear a lot more about big data.

This weekend I was watching television and I heard Dr. David Agus on Fareed Zakaria's show. He discussed how big data extended the life of cancer patients simply by establishing a correlation between blood centers and remissions.

In the latest issue of HealthCare Business News magazine we talked about how big data is being used in radiology to enhance efficiency.

For all of you reading this, I have two questions:

1) What have you heard is on the horizon for the best use of big data? and 2) What is the best use of big data today?
