Sometimes the people making the most traction do it by staying with the same company. Consistency is a great way to establish a solid reputation and strong business relationships. This has been the case for Steve Vest, who is currently celebrating ten years with his company, Nationwide Equipment Transportation.

I've known Steve for a long time. He's done a lot of work for DOTmed users and sometimes for DOTmed. Shipments have a lot of moving parts and sometimes things don't go perfectly... however, when things go wrong Steve has always acted like a gentleman.

The other day I was visiting with him and he told me that over the last 10 years he's handled thousands of shipments — and only a fraction of those shipments were related to the medical industry.

Steve has overseen the shipping of everything from a waffle stacking machine (from Nanaimo, British Columbia to Utah) to seven vintage motorcycles (from New Jersey to St John's, Newfoundland). When cumbersome objects need to go long distances, Nationwide Equipment Transportation has been ensuring those deliveries under Steve's leadership for a decade.

According to Steve, the most rewarding shipment was a donated trek wheelchair being delivered to a disabled veteran. The chair would allow the veteran to resume some of his favorite activities; exploring the outdoors and hunting.

We congratulate Steve and Nationwide Equipment Transporation on ten years of hard work.
