IAMERS, the trade association that represents equipment servicers and resellers, announced on May 7 the resignation of Bob Feldman as events chairman from the Board of Directors.

Feldman made the official announcement to the board during IAMERS Annual Meeting, which took place last week in New York City. Diana Upton, president of IAMERS, said they chose not to make it a big deal at the meeting, which was the association's 20th anniversary.

"We are sorry to see him go," Upton told DOTmed News.

Feldman served for 8 years in his role as events chairman and is credited with growing the association and establishing a presence at many of the industry's biggest events, including RSNA. He also helped with IAMERS annual meetings and other industry trade shows.

"Being the events chairman is a really big job. It's a lot of work," said Upton.

Going forward, Upton said that his job will probably be divided up between two people because of the amount of work that it requires.

Bob Feldman is a great Guy!

Over the years I have seen Bob work hard for IAMERS. He never complained and was always helpful. Very few people have done as much for IAMERS as Bob has.

In all my years I never heard him say a bad word about anyone.

He is a true professional and he will be missed.

Fortunately we will still see him at the meetings.

I salute you Bob!
