The C85-3 Ultra Low Temperature Chest Freezer from So-Low is a 3 cu. ft. manual defrost freezer that operates at a constant temperature of -85C. These innovative ULT chest freezers feature a digital controller with two temperature displays, battery operated alarm system with audible/visual alarms and more.

Manufactured at our facility in Cincinnati Ohio USA, So-Low's Low Temperature Freezers to -85C are produced with heavy-duty 16 gauge cold-rolled steel exterior, and a galvanized, non-corrosive steel interior. Reliable cascade refrigeration system, using two large hermetic compressors, provides a quick pull-down to operating temperature.

Digital Control with Alarm System Digital temperature control, with dual display and adjustable temperature range. An automatic timer system will restart theunit when power is restored after a power outage. The alarm system will activate with a temperature warm-up or loss of power.

Condition & Testing

Preowned So-Low -85CFreezer in very nice cosmetic and tested working condition with somenormal signs of use and no damage.Very presentable for any facility. It runs silently and cooled down to -85C in less than 2 hours time. Will actually reach -90C when set on low.We confirmed the display temperature is correct using an externaldigital thermometer (see pic). We ran this freezer for a few days to ensure it works properly and there are no issues. It maintained the set temperature accurately. The door hinge springs are good and the door will stay open on its own. The door gasket seals tightly. Both compressors are working properly.Very nice unit, ready to use as soon as you receive it.
