The MD6RP Photo Plethysmograph plugs into the MD6VR Chart Recorder to provide high quality photo plethysmographic waveforms. Its photo transducer uses dual infrared transmitters and receivers for extra sensitivity. It is typically used for taking digit pressures and waveforms and for venous reflux tests.
The MD6VR Chart Recorder allows real-time printing of blood flow information directly from the MD6 Doppler, the MD6RP Photo Plethysmograph, or the MD6PN Pneumo Plethysmograph. This vertical recorder has simple push-button controls and an LED bar graph to indicate the waveform position. There are five print speed settings: 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 mm. The date and time are printed at the start of each recording, and the chart speed and range are printed along the edge of the chart. It uses blank thermal chart paper, and is powered by rechargeable NiCad batteries.
