The Waters Acquity UPLC system provides you with reproducible, dependable, and data-rich results for challenging separations. This UPLC system features a wide range of flow rates, back pressures, and linear velocities, with increased throughput with high efficiency so you get the most for your time and resources. This contained tower UPLC system holds a sample manager, column manager, binary solvent manager, a PDA detector and Solvent tray.
ACQUITY PDA Detector allows your laboratory to detect and quantify lower concentrations of sample analytes and compare spectra across wavelengths and broad concentration ranges. It has data rates of up to 80 Hz, noise specifications of 10 µAU, and an extended linear range.
With the PDA detector, you can fulfill multiple UPLC/MS detection strategy requirements for the identification of components that are difficult to resolve by conventional HPLC-based methods.

Acquity UPLC Binary Solvent Manager. Up to four solvents in any combination of two: A1 or A2 and B1 or B2Integral vacuum degassing (six-channel): one channel per solvent, and two channels for Sample Manager wash solvent. Operating flow rate range 0.010 to 2.000 mL/min, in 0.001 mL increment Compressibility compensation automatic and continuous. System delay volume 120 μL, independent of system backpressure (with standard 50-μL mixer installed).Integrated plunger seal wash. Eleven gradient curves including linear, step, concave, and convex. Maximum operating pressure 15,000 psi up to 1 mL/min, 9,000 psi up to 2 mL/min per pump, not more than 15,000 psi total. Composition accuracy ±0.5% absolute (full scale) from 5 to 95% of flow rates from 0.5 to 2.0 mL/min. Composition precision 0.15% RSD or ±0.04 min SD, whichever is greater, based on retention time. Sample manager with cooled sample compartment. Two sample plates compatible with 96 and 384 microtiter plates, 48 position 2.00-mL vial plates, 48 position 0.65-mL micro-centrifuge tube plates, 24 position 1.50-mL micro-centrifuge tube plates. Maximum sample capacity 768 in two 384-well plates.1 to 99 injections per sample. Injection volume range 0.1 to 50.0 μL, partial or full loop mode, 10-μL loop is standard; 1, 2, 5, 20, and 50-μL loops also available. Column manager, heated/cooled. Automated switching for up to four columns with dimensions up to 2.1 mm in internal diameter (I.D.) and 150 mm in length, as well as a bypass channel for flow injections. Heating and cooling from 10 to 90 °C. Lifetime usage information tracked for each column. Advanced design pre-column solvent heating/ post-column passive cooling.
Solvent storage tray. Accommodates up to four chromatographic solvents, two Sample Manager wash solvents and one Binary Solvent Manager seal wash solvent.
