Used by surgical oncologists, liver transplant surgeons, laparoscopists, and interventional radiologists, the Cool-tip RF Ablation System is designed to address the need for an alternative to surgery when treating lesions. Unique Cool-tip RF Ablation Electrodes internally circulate chilled water , cooling the tissue adjacent to the exposed electrode to maximize energy deposition and eliminate tissue charing. This intuitive design results in decreased treatment time and controlled ablation volume. Cool-tip RF Ablation Switching Controller allows up to three electrodes to be used simultaniously, giving physicians the ability to ablate larger volumes of tissue or create multiple, separate lesions in one ablation cycle.

Condition & Testing

This Radionics Cool-Tip RF Generatorw/ PE-PM Peristaltic Pump is in excellent cosmetic and power tested working condition. The RF generatorpowers on and passes start up. The displays and indicator lights are working. All switches, buttons anddials are intact and undamaged. All connection ports on the device are undamaged. No further testing of the generator has been conducted.

The overall finish of this unit is very nice with only a few minor cosmetic scratches, but nothing that affects its functioning. The PE-PM Peristaltic Pump is in excellent shape. When powered on the pump immediatley engages and begins spinning as intended.The door to access the pump opens and closes nicely. The electrode kit looks fine and properly fits the electrode cord. Overall this is a very nice system and we guarantee it will not be DOA.
