Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Art Papier and Harry Glorikian. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Art Papier, founder and CEO of VisualDx, about the challenge of bias in medical diagnoses. As a dermatologist, Dr. Papier focuses on how various skin diseases manifest differently on dark skin versus light skin. While these differences can lead to a misdiagnosis, new technology is making a difference.


In this installment, I check in with Harry Glorikian, global business expert and author of Moneyball Medicine, about how data and AI are changing healthcare. They examine ways that automation and sensor technology are ushering in an era where sick care transitions to "healthy" care, and review some of the primary hurdles and concerns that still need to be addressed.
